I want to say 120 inch/lbs back it off about 1 1/2 turns. Double check me though.

Wit the transmission already in the car, I can't seem to be able to get my little torque wrench on. Is there a special wrench or feel for a 120 inch pound setting and then back off from there?
Thanks

tighten a 5/16' nut and bolt in a vice to 120 inch /lbs .then use a wrench to get the feel for 120 in/lbs . you'll be switching from a 1/2" wrench to a 5/16" for the band

I went to the track and ran the car and I believe the converter has tore up. It still go in gear and go but it sounds bad. Has any of you had such problem? It wasn't doing it when I loaded up after I ran it. It did it the next day when I cranked it to unload. A fellow at the track said he feel it was blowing through the con. Thanks for any info.
Thanks

I had a deal somewhat similar I guess and it turned out to be loose converter bolts that time. Something easy to check at least.
