Feedback on Crites body panels? Empty Feedback on Crites body panels?

Anyone used any of the Crites body panels? I need a set of fenders for my Falcon and have considered buying from them, just concerned with the fit and finish. It's just a cruiser, but I want something that's going to look good and hold up to some miles. Also looking at there bumpers... Thoughts?

Any suggestions? I would just assume have factory steel fenders, but I'm having trouble finding a nice set... I think I would prefer to go glass bumpers though...

Crites seems to be real hit or miss. some people have terrible service from them and some don't. I ordered fenders, hood and trunk lid for my 64 Falcon last year. It was a special they had but there was a 6 week wait. I was in no rush and they showed up as delivered. Others have had all kinds of delays. As far as quality I don't think it is as great as I have always heard about Crites. IF there was somewhere else I would try them first but Falcon fenders are hard to find I think. I have the hood and trunk on sitting on the car and I don't know about the quality. My fenders are loose so until I bolt everything down it is hard to say how well they line up but looking at the trunk lid they are definitely going to need some work to fit properly. At one time I think this would be considered a good fit but by todays standards I think it is pretty poor.

Yea your going to have a little bit of fitting to do,guess that's better then not having enough and leaving a big gap in the rear. That's the same hood that i'm running mines bowed at about the middle of the hood. The rims look good on the car Cool

If they don't make those panels "trim to fit" .You'll end up with alot more problems. Myself , I want them bigger so I can make them fit like I want them to. Making the gaps right is what makes one look right..I took 5/8" off the deck lid on my Tbird, but that's alot easier than adding it..

I hear what you are saying Dan and my panels look a little long. I am just worried about the low spots cuz it looks to me like you would have to build up a pretty large area to make it look right.

Jason ,that is a concern ,but if I already had the panel I'd try to fix it. That teardrop hood looks awesome on your Falcon! You'll hardly ever get any glass parts that don't have to be worked some to look like metal parts do.I blocked my Tbird 5 times to make it look right. Now IT needs it again!!

X2 on Dan's comment of how awesome that bubble hood looks on your Falcon. Also on Dave's remark about the wheels.
Anxious to see the finished product Smile .
