American Drag Race Tour 2011 - KFM Plan

I finally began typing up the plan for me and the old '58 Custom 300 to hit a few races this year. I will concentrate on the NHRA Unleashed series, but have added some Lucas Oil division points races to keep my grade points up. I sure hope the old '97 Powerstroke is up to the task. The plan looks kind of scary when I see it in print, but this is what I want to do. I have never driven to the west coast, especially to race.
It looks like 12 events at 9 tracks in all NHRA divisions except D6. Two of the races will be double, entering 2 classes.
Now I have to really get busy looking for sponsors, getting the equipment ready and thinking about all of the spare parts that I better haul with me. The bad part is...diesel fuel.... ....methanol .....oil ....
This will be the most intense season since I first started racing the '58 back in 1973. I think it will be a blast. Take a look....

The schedule dictated the plan. I can stop at Hampton Inns for free breakfast, Costco and Sam's Club for free samples (for lunch) and open a can of tuna for dinner.
I figure that Dan the Sticker Man will step up and fund most of the deal.

the worn cover deal is just a startup issue, worse case squirt some oil in the res, if you do it a bunch you will need to adj the oil level, otherwise it will act like a 6.4 and be overfull all the time.........

did I mention what a pile of crap the 6.0/6.4 is? Its a wonder anyone buys a Ford truck anymore, and we already got 2 2011's looking to get bought back for the sorry trans shift quality.......

I am ford through and through but I hate to say that is why we pull with a 2006 duramax. great mileage and it will pull anything.

If you have any door cars...be sure and bring them. You can find all of the index information at http://nhraunleashed.com/ . I am sure there is an Index that you can "tune in" to. Belle Rose is always a blast at their Lucas Oil races....this one should be fun too.
