Anyone been doing any car stuff?

nothing secret here guys , went to a larger slick , new cowl induction setup , new fuel system ...just your typical edelbrock headed 5.60 deal ....i mean 5.61

A few things here and there....

Bought today:

Upgraded fuel pump to a #1
bought a high speed leanout and an idle bypass.
bought a Star Machine std vacuum pump kit (the S-10 pump will be on standby)

Sounds like it should work great!! Any pics?? Did you seal the carb to the hood?

I HAVE A LOT GOING ON, but i did find some time fri night from about 330 to 3;30 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jason,dave,and I were on it for 12 hours lol and we were able to get some important things done, thanks you guys . It might be the weekend before i get to work on it again

Finally got started on my junk. I have most everything, been gathering parts since last fall just need time and elbow grease now.


New engine, with p-51 heads, new headers (well not new just different), fuel system upgrade, bigger battery cable front to rear, transmission upgrade, lightning car to make up for aftermarket block weight, rear shock upgrade, front suspension work, front billet four piston brakes and rotors, crossover box,

Intake upgrade in the works as we speak...............

I ain't bittin............. I know better Your cars twin just left my shop, be back in a couple of weeks to get the headers built

Finally got the trans out and started putting the new converter in. I am also doing some rear end upgrades c clip eliminators and rear end girdle. Putting some of those new c-4 parts in and maybe some NOS in too!

I got some parts from Lem..... Need to get to Tennesse to Finish the motor and Put it in the Car.

Mine rolled out of the shop and awaiting a tow down to the chassis shop. (More like, waiting on the money to pay the chassis shop.)

We'll be putting the engine in the dragster later this week. Need to set the valves and stick on the girdle, intake and distributor....

I thought I was about finished with my car but I just got a new Computech data logger so I will be installing it for the next week or so. One thing about a race car is the work never stops. And really I need to pull the trailer out and check the bearing before the year starts…probably can think of a few other things between now and March. Oh yea…we start racing in March down south!

We've been racing since December.... I'm more south of you.
