carb vs efi

Is a $3000 efi system for a 550hp street motor worth the money or is it just a waste of money compared to spending $400 on a carb?

for 550hp ,spend the 3000.00 on making 650hp with a carb

If you get it right, a well tuned F.I. system will drive much better however, it won't make any more WOT power than a carb.

You cannot beat a dailed in carb.Course this comes from a hard core carb guy.No FI will ever give me the satisfaction of a carb,from cold startup,idle to wot.Also really love the feel when the secondaries start to flow on these double pumpers.
