Oh ok. I was thinking that if a engine was speced for a 1350 cfm gas carb that it would take a higher cfm alky carb due to the higher volume, to get in the same hp range.
Thanks

fuel volume is more important w an alky carb, most times the cfm will be lower vs gas

From what I have read on different sites on alky Like Jon said most seem to like less cfm for alky over gas. After I built my 552 I was going to sale my 1050 and step up to a 1150 or a toilet but after reading I decided to keep my 1050 and jetted it up to what APD said would be close and it works fine with my new setup.

Call APD 419-855-3073 and talk with them and see what size they recommend for your set.

He's saying volume of fuel, not air.
