I'm upgrading my 83 f100 from a stock 460 to a mild built 501. with a rough idle cam. c6 trans. NOT for racing... Daily driver
wondering what I should do about my converter so it doesn't want to push at stop signs.

Give your motor specs to a reputable converter builder , let him do his stuff.
Any ebay special is hit & miss at best
