i need help with head cam combo

im going to start gathering pieces for my 460 and i need some advice... i have a standard bore 460, d00e rods and a 2yabc crank, d3ve pistons, i am currently looking for a set of d0ve heads and what cam shaft???? ok if im totally on the wrond road with this combo let me know... i have a wide ratio toploader with 4.10 gears and a 30 inch tall tire and weigh in at 2600-2700 lbs when im done.... its going in a 51 henry j strait axle gasser... i have 2 1/4 inch headers with a 3 1/2 collector and a open muffler and a dual plane intake... thats about all the info i have...please help me not screw this up!!!!

Is this to be a race car or a "nostalgia" type cruise vehicle...?

Headers are to big for either.

Those D3 pistons and D0 heads work well together. Get a "street rod" type camshaft; similar to a THUMPER.
But, I would get something ground with a smaller exhaust lobe when using that 2 plane intake; around 226/234@.050", under .535" lift or so with a tight separation.

I have a comp thumper cam in a block in the shop. miles unknown but it's yours just pay the shipping to where you are if you want it...... all lobes look good
