I am guessing it is more serviceable, in a shorter amount of time, with no welding, but I don't have a clue scratch

We've had a bolt together for years but don't like selling them because racers like to take them apart and look at them and then not know how they go back together. Lol

The one above looks real nice though. Lenny knows how to make em work.

Industrial equipment has been using bolt together stuff for over 40 years.   Its the insides and backsides that matter. That's where the expertise comes in handy.

You are correct about Marty, and before Marty, Vic Richards built them and back in the beginning cast iron PG's were one of the first that utilized a bolt together as well as many industrial manufacturers used them. As far as being behind, I am a smaller company that builds per customer, we are extremely busy with what we do and R&D and upgrades are daily as race car technology is constantly evolving. We have had the ability, and have built bolt togethers for years at the customers request, but as busy as we are and the volume of calls  a day along with numerous tech and sales calls, leaves very little time to really chase and advertise to keep up with the companies that do them mainline. I have been doing converters for 35 years and love what we do, it is not a job to me. I have the utmost respect for Marty Chance, Pro Torque, PTC , ATI and all of the quality converter companies out there and get along very well with them all. Each has it's own niche and specialties.
I was happy with this Aluminum cover after seeing the test results and quality, as well as it using the same type core I have been using for many years with a ton of R&D invested in it, I think is a good addition to our line. We also make bolt togethers for the 258 (10") and 265 (10.5") converters.
