Thanks Randy that what I figured. But remember reading all aftermarket cranks while back used the 2y size throws< guess it might be tight in a d9 block as well :}

I've built several engines with Lunati 4.500 cranks and 6.700 rods.  Clearance is not an issue.  The counterweight size is based on the 3Y cranks (more compact), so it'll fit in any production block.  This is true of all aftermarket BBF stroker cranks.

You should call LUNATI and advise them their crankshaft instructions are erroneous and that they have no idea of what they are talking about for their crankshafts.

I could call, but it wouldn't make a difference.

Just another example of why it pays to deal with a specialist instead of a phone jockey at some huge warehouse.
