Composite Distributor Gears BBF with solid roller cams

Has anyone successfully used a composite distributor gear with a solid roller cam?
I still have my old Crane steel gear with a solid roller cam. Just starting to show some wear.

That page is a bit old. I'd call them and see if they actually have them before breaking out the champagne.
