I have a stock 70 Torino, 429 CJ, 4spd with 3:50 gears. I would like a solid flat tappet cam reccomendation please. I am adding a torker II intake, 850 DP and headers. Car will not see a lot of use but I want it to scream when I do use it. Rough idle is not a concern.  I did send Scott a pm to get his advice. Thanks

Get a CUSTOM ground camshaft for exactly what you want the car to do. In most instances, from vendors on here, the cost isn't much, if any, more.

There is a whole lot more information needed for you to get your engine/vehicle a cam with exactly the right temperment and manners the way YOU want it to act.

Do you want to keep the 3:50 gear?
