E-85 CARB

Has anyone tried running e-85 fuel?If so does it work well?I heard it is verry inconsistant. Any imput?

Been using it on a IMCA mod 347 13.5 to 1 comp and it has not given us any problems. Seems to make smoother power than methanol. Getting a consistent blend from the pump sucks. Only thing after two years I took the motor apart to freshen and the intake had a thin film in the runners. Check out classic motorsports. They have been good to me so far. Going to try two demons converted to e-85 on my 499 this spring.

Another recomendation for Chris at classic motor sports. He is a known value, & he sets them up on a dyno with a e 85 broad band and calibrates the entire rpm ramge for proper stoich.
