How much HP is lost in transmission and driveline? Empty How much HP is lost in transmission and driveline?

Just looking at the ET calculator program and it says my 5200lb 4x4 truck will do a 12.5 sec 1/4 mile with 600HP at the rear wheels. I assume this would be dependant on getting good traction.
I'm making around 600HP at the flywheel (on N2O). But I don't have access to a track. I'm curious - how much HP am I getting at the rear wheels (or how much do I need at flywheel to get to 12.5 sec?
Its a F250 4X4 with C6 BW1346 transfer case, dana 60 rear.

Certainly does. I've seen a few C6's on dynos that were not rollerized that were using less than 40hp. Drivetrain temp, oil in the rear, how good the gear mesh is, driveline angle, reciprocating mass, etc. all play a part in how much parasitic loss there is. Cool

Thnaks for the link/info.
That's a lot of power loss through friction.
