429 f150 swap

OK after reading the last couple days, I see to swap a 429 into my 79 F150 (400 np435 205 bla bla bla) ill need a diffrent flywheel setup. I have all the parts I need save a clutch set up. I Know from my learning not to go the 390 flywheel clutch and flywheel unless i want to build a spacer, so heres the question. If i get a flywheel from a pre 79 460 thats a 12"er will i still need a new clutch kit or will my old one from my 400 thats fairly new still work as it ought to be a 12" setup. i have seen so much jargon im slightly confused but im thinking this is my answer.....

Well I'm not sure about that, but I was wondering if I could use the HD 429 flywheel that came with the Fire Truck motor that I am using for my 460 build?

I would think that the clutch you have would work on the new flywheel.
