1978 f150 4x4 302 swap

my brother bought a 1978 f150 4x4 has a 351m he's wanting to put a 302 in it. my question is do we need to find other frame horns or jut move the holes in the ones he has?

If it had a 351m/400 in it you don't have to move the frame horns . Just get 78 two wheel drive truck mounts and the correct transmission { small block C6} and put her in ! equal length fox mustang headers work or the shorties too !

its a 4 speed truck. dose a twd have the same style horns or are they a strap style.

Then make sure you have the small block bell housing and flywheel. Frame horns are different from 2 wheel drive to four wheel drive but the mount that bolts to the blocks have the same stud that goes thru the stands or frame horn on two and four wheel drives.

P.s a true 460 truck engine stands and mounts a different .
