First annual Ford Memorial Shootout Race US60 Hardinsburg, KY June 12-13

June 12-13 US 60 Hardinsburg, KY. This is going to be a annual race dedicated to the memory of the ford racers lost, that always supported the events every year. Like Harold Webster, Gordon Sindlinger, Tim Murphy and others that we've lost along the way. It is going to be set up to be the week before the Hot Rod Reunion every year. To some this may not work but to others that do both and just make a vacation it may be better. This way you can have plenty of time to plan for those that have to put in early for their vacation.  It will be T&T Fri morning then the regular race open to all brands that night and the Ford only race Sat. The payout will be 100 percent after track rental and cost based on car count. If we get sponsorship money it will be added to the payout. The entry will be more affordable than in the past. This may allow more to be able to come. This race isn't about big payouts, it's about getting together with good people, racing, relaxing and having a good time. The classes will be pro and super pro or as some call it no box and box. Entry fee will be the same for both classes. Payment will be at the gate. The entry fees will be as follows: Friday TandT and Saturday morning race will be $60 for both or $25 for Friday TandT only, $50 for Saturday Ford race only and spectator fee is $10 a day. The entry will include Fri morning T&T and Sat Ford race. Friday night is the tracks regular program at regular price. There will also be a race between the winners of both classes for an extra $100. There should be time for some gamblers races and grudge racing. I am also working on trying to get some trophies for the first place winners. If people want to bring some stuff to sell I'm sure that would be great. Please keep this thread about the race and info. Don't turn it in to a place to argue. I know this was asked in another thread but is there a flyer we could print out and post up locally?

I threw something together and I know it needs some tweeks, but I need input on what other items need to be listed and/or changed.

Also I need to get an action pic of a  Super Pro/Heads Up  type car launching at US60 to replace the T-Bird pic (I just put that it in there temporarily)
(I went looking for pics on this site from last year's US60 race, but Cory's was the only action shot one I found at the line)
