Another guy from NY!!

My name is Doug, I live in Central NY and just came over from the 460.com. I don't have any BB powered cars right now but still have one on an engine stand waiting for it's new home. I've gotten tired of Fox body Mustangs (I've had over 30+) and decided I wanted something a little different. By chance I found a 1979 Fairmont station wagon with a 6 banger in it. I swapped the drivetrain in May and have been tweeking on it the last few weeks at the track. I finally swapped out the slipping C4 and way to loose converter for a Redneck C4 with a transbrake and 3700 stall 9.5" converter (from my turbo car). Threw a set of 3.73 gears in it and 28x11.50-15 ET streets. Car laid down an 11.69 @ 115mph with a 1.60 60' on 87 octane pump gas and 10degrees of initial timing, car has 9.0-1 compression 393 with a small retro-roller .511/.526 cam. For giggles I threw a 130hp shot of nitrous at it, the ET streets didn't like it but it still went 1.67 60' spinning hard. Car went 10.80 @ 125mph on a 92 degree day. New Mickey full slicks are going on for the next race. With some traction I hope it'll go 10.50's, then I'll throw a 150 shot and see what it'll run. All the runs were off the foot-brake, just spins off the trans-brake. I guess I better start thinking about a rollcage and some sub-frame connectors. I'm planning on running a Street Car shootout on Sep 13, I just hope they don't hassle me about the lack of a rollcage. Here is a pic of the car.
