Ran 9's on motor Empty Ran 9's on motor

MIR Ford Fever Classic this weekend and car ran the most consistent it ever has. Ran a best of 9.94 with a 1.38 60' with 9.97's being the time norm on Sat. Wish the driver was as good as the car but he didn't do his part. Went .043 red in second round Sat. with my opponent leaving first had a .483 light. I really beat myself up for that! Went to third round Sun. and went .023 red but not sure it would have made any difference as the car spun and had a 1.44 60'. MIR has a great track but as you get into later rounds you have no idea how the track will hook. Makes it hard to run on your dial.
Feel free to offer suggestions after looking at picture. Car leaves hard but I think I can improve a little.

460 with A429 heads with some porting but not the best. Someone messed up the short turn on the exhaust. Comp cam 589-615 256-266 on a 108 sep. 4000 stall C-4 with 3:89 gears. Crate motor with headwork and cam change. Also running a 1000CFM Prosystem carb. with a Motorsport (Victor) intake. No transbrake, footbrake to 2200 and leave from there.

Trans brake would pick it up quite a bit imo, beacuse of 60'. If I ft. brake LiL Tweety,my 60 is 1.34 but w/tb and a 4600 chip it's 1.25 Smile

Quite a few will disagree with you on here about it will be faster with a brake,i have no input on that one as i never tried a brake myself but i asked that ? a month or so ago on here and most said theres no diffrence and a few said it will go faster because you can get on the converter harder so i guess it reacts diffrent for each combo is what i got from it.
