CAST IRON EX 514 HEADS

1 of the guys i do engines for is going to sell his extra set on e bay,thought i'd let you guys know, im going to guess,and say monday

they are cnc'd,and touch by hand, these are brand new

Iron or aluminum? and Cost?

Rich why don't you suggest he list them here for a few weeks prior to fleabay?? Give the guys here a shot at them first? It could save him some fees and eBay agrivation.

THESE GUYS REALLY DONT DO THE INTERNET THING MUCH, THATS WHY I PUT IT ON HERE

Theirs definetly a puller or two on here that would be interested in those.

If they are new ones,have the water passages been drilled yet? And if they are iron,they are THE head for the pullers

Rick, don't leave us mud drag guys out in the cold here. We still live with some antique iron head rules too. Wish I had the coin to step up to a set of these, but they are way out of my $$$ range right now. Not too many guys using them yet, and they really make some serious power, even in a vac limited class. Thanks for the info Rich.

drilled? have no idea what you mean, there is a lot of bad info about these heads out there,thats not true, these are cast with water passages in them, these are the 4th set ive worked with,all of them have been casted with holes, if they are iron? yes they are the iron heads,

YES THEY ARE A GREAT HEAD,AND MAKE VERY GOOD POWER, so does the blue thunder iron head,

Don't get me wrong this is a great HiPerformance iron head BUT,the later version had water passage problems that had to be drilled to make the water flow thru them. Call JB Bob,Charlie Evans,or Lem. They will verify this

sellers that have a NO RESERVE and make like its a big deal . who needs one when the price starts at a million dollars

I was thinking when I priced these lastyear the stage 3 ported bare heads were $4500 guess I was wrong. Another reason you dont see more of these heads out there severely overpriced in my opinion!!

first it cost a lot to cast them,2nd now write the program for the c&c, 3rd now c and c them, youll go thru twice the cutters doing them compared to an alum head , then work on them by hand again , there is no iron bb ford head that will run with them execpt a iron boss head,i can sell you pair of boss 429 iron bare for about 5500, no port work .

this head cost a lot to do period, then wait for them, we waited 6 or 8 months, then shipping

now heres a set ready to go, these heads will come with a valve train info,sizes, cam shaft info, piston info,ring pac info, valve angle for best flow,stem hight, rocker ratio info,

ask you engine builder what this info is worth?

i have dyno tests, tune up info, etc etc,




if the stupid rule makers for pulling would of said alum is ok, it would be cheaper for all,and theyd have twice as many trucks pulling, we wouldnt need this head
