Your truck should have 5x4.5 unless you changed the suspension. If not Moser will redrill them for $60/pr. 4 1/4 only was used on newer Lincolns, Thunderbirds, and Cougars

thanks going to order my 4-link and get my rearend under it for I can get the right width so I can get the right length on the axles before ordering it.

Hey, Jim:
For what it's worth, you can do a lot better with Moser! I ordered a pair of custom length axles for a 9" Ford rear last Friday, and they were on my door step on Tuesday morning - GREAT service, and the price was right - $478.30! That's for two axles, bearings, screw in studs, retainers, AND shipping. Great service, great price, and great product! The most common Ford bolt pattern is 5 lug on 4 1/2 "

I'm not affiliated with Moser Engineering in any way - just my experiance and opinion!

I like Moser as well but the link he posted includes the spool too.

Yeah, I thought about that as well - but in none of his posts does he mention wanting to use a spool. Not a good idea on the street. Maybe he will give us more info about his plans and usage.

Wayne it is for my ranger I am building for drag racing only and yes I am going with the full spool 9'' ford narrowed.

An yes my ranger does have the 4.5 bolt pattern I was wrong on the 4.25 bolt pattern thats for pointing that out.

Yes the standard Ford bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5 but for what its worth your choice of used wheels and the resale value of any take-offs may be better with the other more common brand's 5 on 4 3/4.. Might be sacrilege to some but it dont matter a hoot what pattern you use when its all said and done on a deal like that.

Bosshoss I was looking for some used wheels you are right the 4.75 are the more comman out there in the used dept. but I just like to keep the same bolt pattern on the front and back.I know it don't really matter but I am a ford person and like to keep everything in ford specs as possible when I can but the next trans I have to buy will be a power glide for it.I just wish ford would have came out with a power glide instead of chevy I don't care for chevy but that is just me.
