What engine specs/parameters caused you to go with an aluminum rod instead of a steel rod?

We plan to hit it with around a 400 shot of spray. And we will tear down and inspect everything every 30 or so passes. Liked the idea of a little shock absorbing with the alum rod. Cory

Called Callie's yesterday, and got the crankshaft ordered. 4.5 stroke magnum, glad I called, they won't have forgings for 2 weeks. Be around Xmas before we get it. Oh well we need a lot of other parts as well. Thanks cory

Hey all, we got one of Lem's custom pans on the way. Can't wait to see it up close. The parts are piling up. The price is more than reasonable. You can't beat dealing with Lem for bbf go fast parts. Thanks cory
