In line engine oil filter Empty In line engine oil filter

Do you have any opinions on using an inline engine oil filter? I am trying to clean things up and remounting the remote canister filter is causing me a headache. Thanks.

We used 2 "Shorty" System 1 remote filters in our road race car set-up with a parallel mount; one had a finer screen.

Never had an issue. Cleaned them after every outing.
