Question about TFS A460 and Motorsport A460 heads

I currently have a set of Ford Motorsport heads. I'm thinking of ordering the TFS A460 340 bare heads. I was curious if could I use the valves and springs off of the motorsport heads on the new TFS heads. I was told from a friend that the valves may not work for some reason, can anyone help with this topic?

Depends upon what TFS options you get with the castings. Some will interchange.

You should be able to install the A460 Motorsport valves and springs into those heads; (although the Motorsport exhaust valves are a tulip design).

why are you changing the heads anyway?

Getting new heads simply to update my operation. Have been looking at getting new heads for a few years now. Decided to go with the assembled TFS heads and be done with it. Thanks for everyone's input.

Just a question as to the goals of changing the heads... raised ports, bigger valves I get it, but are the assembled heads going to give you the right matched components for the camshaft you want to maximize the combination and meet your expectations?
