hello
I'm new to this place but not new to ford. I was racing 335 series and 385 series ford engine's in the mid 80's and back again in the late 90's to mid 2000's. I was turning my 429 CJ with 460 crank to 7200 rpms at the local 1/4 miles in my 1972 mustang coupe.I just picked up 1973 429 that was still factory ford installed & part numbered head gasket's/timing chain set/rods & main bearing/ pistons .I tore it down to the block, so to clean it back up with installed my 429CJ rods with external balance 460 crank . that going to be install in my 1986/87 mustang street/strip GT that I have had for 15yrs.
I currently have 13 engine's on engine stands from 302/351w/351C/400/429/460 waiting for the right car to fit them into. I have 460 powered zephyr woody wagon to 1982 mustang GT with 1995 351W. I have 1979 mustang that I SCCA race when I can. right now I'm almost finished building my 1984 LTD woody that complete 5.0 5 speed 4 wheel disc fox chassis drive train just so I can enjoy the fun of driving fast handling wagon.
