c4 or turbo 400

Im building a 64 comet 501 ci and was planning on a pa automatic c4 super comp transmission.As of late I have people telling me to forget that and go with a turbo 400. The car is going to be a street and strip setup.If anyone can give me there pros and cons on the subject would be appreciated.I have seen durability in both these transmissions...

PA stuff has gone to sh*! Lately we have broke "2" super comps with a small block nitrous combo it now has a glide but in your case c6 ftw....

A pretty basic 400 with a good valve body will be fine for your setup. And cheaper in the long run.

with all the improvements on the C-6 why not use one? at least you will be starting with a stronger trans and ending up with an even stronger trans...

You are right !

I have a PA on the bench right now, Im not impressed.

C6 ftw with that combo imo.....

A rollerized C6 with a Merkl trans brake VB would do the trick, mine works awesome.
