im starting to pull my pg out of my foxbody and would like to get some
suggestions as to what drum and clutches I should get. I launched at
4500 and felt something bad, I was able to get off the track with second
still working. no first or reverse. 2775 lbs, 598 ci 900 plus hp 33-16-15
slicks. after market case 4.10 rear gears. also what stall should I have,
sending out to tci to freshen up while the trans is out.  Shocked

I have about 80 runs on trans., when I say felt something bad I thought I blew the driveshaft.
the front end was up about a foot when it let go..

At that power level, the trans probably didn't owe you anything. Wink  That was just your 'glide's way of telling you it needed a little attention. Smile

A good 1.80 straight cut, 8 clutches in the stock drum, std width kevlar band, dual ring servo, good spring, aftermarket drive hub, good input ring or ringless, bolted stator tube pump, deep pan....... Pretty much it lol.
