propane 429 parts Empty propane 429 parts

I've been wanting to replace my 79 370 with a 429 and recently ran across a 97 propane version. My engine will never see any rpms and will be strictly a torquer. I like what I see in the propane heads; that is no heat riser or air injection ports. Both are connected to the exhaust manifolds BTW. I would like to swap this intake and heads to my 370 for now to play with it. Does anyone know if they will interchange? I like the intake because the carb base is much higher. I'm going to stick with the gas carb setup.
The ultimate end result will be rebuilding the 429 for about 600-650 lbs of torque at some point. I say 600-650 because the fuller trans is rated for around 650.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jim

IMO your wasting your time swaping the top end if your going to run gas.

And as far as getting 650 Ft Lbs out of a low RPM 429 I'm thinking your going to fall short on that goal too.

I am going to agree with DFree, 600lb/ft of tq is not going to happen with a N/A 429.  I had a 552ci deal running on race fuel that was in that ball park, and itqs going to take a lot of cubes to get there.
