Any feedback on Braille batteries? Worth getting or not? Only have a 12 volt system.

We tried one once. It was a really light paperweight.

Barney did you change it because of issues or for other reasons?

I have one of the large Endurance Series Braille batteries. 42 lbs
Size equal to an optima but with more amps and larger reserve.
Spins my locked timing 598 A head like nothing even with 14:1.

2 yrs with no problems. Would buy again. The alt came unplugged once and I made 17 passes on it before it wouldn't start. Verified that with the voltage drop on thd data logger.

The small ones dont last very long and have a very hard time with high compression motors. I don't know anything about the regular size bstteries.

I had the small one also, (21lbs.) It made it 2 years but if you ever flooded or had some kind of problem it wouldn't start. I also didn't keep it charged like I should have so that may be part of it. Currently a yellow top now. Have a lot less problems even though the added weight.
