6.0L coolant leak Empty 6.0L coolant leak

Gents, friend in Az is having a problem... Only when he turns his heater on...

Coolant from what looks like the water cross over to a red heater hose? (We call that area the water cross over on the 6.7L) Red hose under the turbo pedestal.

what's involved to repair this leak..?
Simple cut and remove hose?
Or does the turbo have to come out?

all those red bastards leak, put a blue one on and its all good.

It's a heat issue from the turbo, isn't it Jon? Need the silicone hose, I've been told.

The early ones used the red, they changed it later on to the blue, just another pos thing to go wrong with these turds.



The replacement is a Ford part, I prolly have 5 or 6 of them in a box somewhere lol.
