I use a stock 460 style starter on my JW Ultrabell
HOWEVER on my Ultrabell, JW rotated the starter
position a little. Maybe 10-15 * or so. So if you
are using an OEM backing plate, the backing plate
stater holes dont line up. In fact the OEM backing
plate covers the JW Ultrabell starter holes completely.
Luckly I noticed it and redrilled the backing plate
before I put it on the motor. Might be a hassle doing
it in the car??? So check your Ultrabell against your
backing plate first.

Like others have said a stock starters works.
I had the starter bolts work loose a couple times so I put studs in the bellhousing. They have never come loose since. Makes putting the starter in a lot easier as well.
