broken parts

I need suggestions on possible causes to look for. I finally got a couple of passes in with my '88 mustang big small block. My first pass I better my previous best by .15 to 9.61

my next pass it fell off to a 10 flat and some strange noises were heard. I removed the rocker covers and parts fell out. I had broken a rocker shaft and 2 of the 3 mounting bolts. the middle bolt was still there but showed a lot of wear. The shaft broke in the middle of the hole for the unbroken middle mounting bolt. The lifters were up out of the lifter bores. I did find both broken bolts.

How many RPM you turning ?

Lift on Camshaft ?

Spring pressures, Pushrod thickness, Duration @ .050.

How old is everything?

not sure on thickness till I check tomorrow everything from the block up and the cam has a year of racing the short block is new

intake valve is 2.08

duration @ .o5o is 278/284

spring pressure I checked yesterday was 235 on the seat all with in 3 lbs

whats the over the nose pressure?

Are these the springs that came with the heads or have they been changed?

the springs were updated for the solid roller. I got them from AFR they have about 40 runs on them
