1932 Ford Coupe Project

Since I started getting some progress pictures from the guys at New Age Motorsports for my 1932 Ford Coupe Project, I'm going to start this thread for the build. I can't wait to bring it home! I'm going to run the engine and transmission up to Connecticut next Saturday the 25th, so they can set it in and phase everything. Here's some pictures of the body just out of the mold, and the chassis on the jig getting set. They TIG weld everything once it's set, so it will look awesome. I think I posted a pic of the 521 with the Sanderson Jayster headers with 3" dumps, but I will start with that first. I haven't detailed the engine yet, but this is it as I took it out of the Fairlane.

Thanks Dan! On a side note, look for the mail man to bring you something from me. You gave me a spacer plate last year, and I finally found your home address to send a thank you.

WOW, and to think it's going to go into a '32 FORD coupe...how original.

Thank You! Yeah, Dad and I keep saying that we don't think anyone has this combination. It should pull alot better than the Fairlane ever did.

Even if there's no Bash next year, Dad and I will make a trip out there for sure. Just for a road trip....that's how we roll. LOL Thanks Bruno! I love this site, and I love to post how things are going, even when I'm not here all the time. You guys are like a family to me and my Dad. He will never forget the first Bash he went to. He wants to come again so much!

thanks Harold! Did you take up my fee for the winter tech seminar? That was a thank you for you too, for sending me the spacer plate that wasn't the spacer Plate. I just wanted to thank you for going through the trouble of sending it out, even though it wasn't what I needed. I still have the piece, so I will give it back to you when I make it out there again.

I always wanted to do a street rod. Do you have to Box the frame for the big block? That things gonna be awesome when it's done.

It's not welded up yet, but in the middle of the chassis, where the body will sit, will be tubular crossmembers for structural integrity. It will handle all the power my lil 521 will dish out. Here's a pic from their website.

Very cool. That thing is going to fly with a 521. I was a little disappointed to see you sell the Fairlane but I can see why you did now. Cool project.

We delivered the 521/C6 to New Age Motorsports yesterday, and we couldn't believe how much progress was made since the pictures Ed sent us. We hope to get it back by the end of March. We aren't rushing them at all, and stressed that, but he does have 3 cars after ours going on. Here's some more pics of our Coupe in progress. BTW, I drove up with Dad and my two brothers, and it was priceless! We are a close family, and just being with them all was worth more than the Coupe. I love my brothers and Dad so much! I'm so glad we bought our Coupe from Ed and Chris; these guys are so knowledgeable and even added some changes knowing the engine we were putting in.

Cant wait to see this done pat off to great start

Thank you Mark and Harold! Here's a couple more pics that Ed from New Age Motorsports sent us on the progress. We still can't wait to see the pictures of the 521/C6 inside those frame rails.

Those rims and tires will NOT be on the car when finished. My brother Joe let us use the rear tires off his 47 Ford Truck and those are Crown Vic mini spares, just to get us on the trailer to take it home.

My Dad has been on cloud nine since we first started talking about selling everything and going for it. The engine should be in it by now, so we are just waiting on the pics from Ed at New Age Motorsports. We don't call him to pressure him. LOL It's like Christmas Day as a child when I get the email with new pictures...
