Howdy from Southern Indiana

Hi guys my name is Kevin Rowe & I own a 29.5" x 10.5" tire Outlaw type car with a 638" Thor headed nitrous engine. I actually have a friend of mine handling the driving duties. He is braver then me, plus he also is the brains of the outfit & his name is Leon Mathis. Leon is an excellent driver & mechanic!!! We have been doing the heads up racing going on 7 years now. We race a class called True Street. During this time, at times we have raced (2) different sanctioning bodies running the same class. We have competed with small block & big block Ford engines in a 1993 Mustang Coupe. We have won (7) True Street championships & runnered up a couple of times. We have been pretty successful over the years & have set ET records in our class. For my day job, I have work in an industrial machine shop in the office & have done this for almost 30 years now. We're glad to have you on board this site! Welcome and be prepared to share some of your knowledge. Guy's, Kevin has a big Thor headed monster in a fox body Mustang,,,,,,,,and they run like 4.50's in the 1/8th,,,,,,,,,,or something like that!

Charlie, happy Birthday to You!!!!!!! I forgot to tell you that earlier. Our best time is 5.04 this year & we have ran over 145 MPH & our car weighs 3420 lbs with driver. We have to actually weigh 3400 lbs based on rules for our class, so we keep the car approx. 20 lbs heavy so we do not come up lite & get DQ'd. Also Charlie thanks to you for letting me pick you brain for information at times. You have helped me over the years with good advice & I appreciate it very much!
