Good evening my friends !!!

I have been looking at several different types of low cost sbf cylinder heads that will be 1500 bucks or less to make 500 plus hp on stock stroke 351W.

1 pro comp as cast
2 flotek as cast
3 promaxx hand bowl blended
4 LPC which are LIBERTY PERFORMANCE CNC ported

I have looked at other knock of brands but the above heads seem to be the more commonly used.

All of these heads are with in 200 bucks of each other in price depending on supplier

Do any of you have any experiance with the LPC cylinder heads ?
Based on personal experiance which cylinder head would you choose ?

Thanks Whitefield

I have used the Pro Maxx 185 heads with unexpected success.

I picked up a set of the flow Tek 58cc 180 runner heads and they look nice for the $$, appears to be American made parts other than the castings, much higher quality than procomp stuff I’ve seen

Randy the more I am researching I have narrowed it down to two cylinder heads !
🔍

PROMAXX
PROJECT X SBF 210cc
or
195cc LIBERTY CNC PORTED HEADS FROM PRESTIGE MOTORSPORTS.

Sorry for the cap locks!

Randy if you would pm me the hp numbers of the build that you used the promaxx heads on and any pros and cons to them.

I still value and want everyones experiance with the above mentioned heads. thanks again Whitefield

Personally, I think 210's will be to big for a 351W and their 200's will be right on the cusp.
A 408 could probably use 210's.

I don't remember the exact numbers for that customer street engine but, it was a 393W and it made near 600 horsepower with a flat solid cam in the mid 250's and under .600" lift; 10.5/1 compression ratio.
I did re-do the intake seat valve job to 50 degrees, though.
