Re: 598 bbf build
Have you seen this build?
Maybe some good tips you can pick up from it.

I would think if the heads flow enough you can get pretty close to your goal, with those parts.
So you are going to run a 1.136" intake lift and a 1.068" exhaust lift? Seems pretty extreme. What size cam journals?

Hi thanks for your reply, the cam has 55mm journals i think, using roller bearings for it, the cam was specially chosen to suit the head work. The heads are having extensive work done to them, thanks for that link i will have a look.

Re: 598 bbf build
I don't see any reason why you could'nt meet that goal.
Kaase made 1000+ on a 598 with SR-71 heads right out of the box, and he said a set of A460 heads could be a 100 horses more.

what do you mean by chambers are being reshaped with resin? are you saying they are putting epoxy in the combustion chambers?
i was told epoxy will not hold up to ethanol, and other fuels.

Re: 598 bbf build
Theyre using epoxy in the runners, theyre welding the chambers to change them, im using race gas not corn juice
