1989 lincoln mark vii

im looking at a 1989 lincoln mark vii. its got the 5.0 ho motor in it. its got 4.10 gears, pulleys, 1 5/8 headers with 2 1/2 h-pipe and exhaust, its got a small lunati roller cam, the heads are gasket matched. aod with a shift kit. it ran 13.20@102 with a 100 shot. what would be the next thing to do? intake? injectors? throttle body and mass air? thanks in advance.

Weight loss....but that's me. Dad said, "if you wanna go somewhere in a hurry, don't take a lot of crap with you." in other words, "adding lightness" is like free horsepower. I gotta think a Lincoln may have some pork aboard.

What do you want it to do with the car...street / strip mostly street, or track only, some street / mostly track

TB MAF / injectors for full street duty, might need a regulator, and the computer/pistons (if factory) cannot handle much more juice, and are they shorty headers they may be too small at 1 5/8...and put it on a diet ^^^^ does it get traction?

Mostly street with the weekend trip to the strip. I plan on putting 31 spline axles and the bottle back on it.
