Is it anywhere near the right size for a 588?

Just depends on the boost pressure your wanting to run and rpm your turning the engine.

I would think it would be on the small side for a 588 turning above 6500 and building 15-18 lb boost.

It would work by over driving it , but I don't think it would be optimum (intake heat may be a problem).

Maybe someone with real time experience would chime in.

If it's anodized you could run alcohol or E85 and not have a heat issue at moderate boost levels. Check clearances and let her eat. Mine was overdriven and worked good on alcohol. Made the switch to E85 and looks to work the same. Engine out now for a block that can take the boost. Remember, combination is everything.

Selling just blower and snout. I was told that it would run on a 588 if the compression was 11:1 or better and ran at about 20% over.

I have more pictures if you like. This is a very nice piece.

Ok, so what other major parts would be needed to run this piece? Any ideas? Ignorant to the blower world, but it is appearing to be the next step everyone is taking and this looks like it may be the way/price point to start with (depending on what else is needed)

Thanks!!
