Probably nothing to worry about. A pressure drop as the oil heats up is normal. Lots of guys subscribe to the "10 lbs of oil pressure per 1000 rpm" guideline as OK. I like a smidgen more, but.....

Anyway, yours sounds OK. Remember you can change those numbers a bit with different oil viscosities. Personally, I race with 15w50.

I am running valvoline racing 20/50w. It look like there is air in line to the oil pressure gauge.. I cut it and shorted the line because it was too long..

Your pressure sounds normal. Don't pay any tension to the air bubble in the line.

X2 the air bubbles will not change the oil pressure any but if you don't like seeing the air bubbles you will have to loosen the line on the back of the gauge and fire it up but you need a rag or something to catch the oil until the bubbles all get out and tighten the line back up after that you should not see any more bubble as long as the line is not unhooked and reconnected for some reason my 552 runs 65psi cold and 50 hot running 20w50 Valvoline  racing oil.
