New 622 C Head build

Just posting a few pics . Thanks to Lem and Jetboat Bob for their help in the project . Lawes found a little more in the heads .

With those domes I am guessing your CR is gonna be north of 15:1 ?

Yea i would say a little . I just turned Lem loose with it .

I can remember when i bought those heads about 12 yrs ago , the look on my face when i found out how much the rocker arms cost lol

The projected compression ratio is 15.1:1

The dome is but 4cc.

center counter weights would have been nice on the crank , takes the whip out of the crank a high rpm

Rocker arms aren't the bad ! LOL I've got 5 sets of C460's and 6 sets of rocker arms plus a half set for spares!!

Yes.

It sure looks good. I think there will be a C headed engine built for me in the future at the same place.. I really like how the heads look now compared to when I picked my motor up in late October. Definitely a great bunch of guys to deal with. It is funny to look back at parts and pieces I have bought over the years and rem the look of my woman's face. ha ha

what stroke is the crank ? Has anyone seen the 4.750 crank from callies yet?

Nice as usually when you have the best imo working on it.

What is the power you are looking for from this combo? Any flow #s from the heads (just approx). What intake are you going to use?

I would love it ,but I just finished building a new dragster and funds are depleted for a while ! LOL ( how much are they going for ?)

Looking for as much power as i can get lol , main focus quick bracket racing so reliable. 525 cfm on heads with a sheet metal tunnel ram 2 enderlee 5" throttle body injectors.
