A firend of mine said bennitt racing has came up with a head to get a weight reduction...Says its cleveland style, and hes calling it a stick valve angle head....Anyone heard of this ???

it's a bs move too. they're trying to get a valve angle weight break for a head that flows 480. just because it says stock valve angle break in the rules. it was supposed to be for standard 20* ford, 23* chevy.

Hell I thought a canted valve head wasn't even doable on most sb rules.

From what i understand a 351W based block...May be wrong...

big blocks against a Cleveland. Yes it is unfair, the Cleveland will have the edge.

this is an X275 deal. you take a 50lb deduct for "stock" valve angle heads. they are using a mis-worded rule, which obviously is not within the intent of the rules, to get this break. We were going to do the same but it is shady and not in line with the intent of the rule.
