I have a 66 coupe and I am going to 2x3 front frame rails and bolt a fox K member to it. Then when the cage is added just bring the bars out off the dash bar across the cater camber plates and down to the frame.

That way anything that is sold for the Fox will work on the car. You might could even just move the factory frame rails outward and use them if the drop worked out correctly.

Just a thought.........

I think Mike Egge did his yellow 67 short bed this way. Worked great

That is an interesting idea. If you 2x3 the front frame (and/or go full chassis) and put the new front rails high enough off the ground to use a conventional sized Fox/SN95 Xmember instead of a AJE's "swap" sized Xmember that would give you more choices since there is a lot more aftermarket company's making the conventional sized Xmembers vs the swap Xmembers.

yes being in the north ( new england )

unless the car is not from around here its usually junk being that old , hell most foxbodys up here are rotted beyond repair .

if the rear frame is legit , im thinking keeping it simple with calvert stuff in rear . caltracs , mini tub and split leafs

aje set up front ......all i want is to be able to have a 10.00 index /9.50 index contendor

I have a few body parts if you need them. Door skin new in box. 1 fender with hail dents. cowl panel with a few hail dents and a trunk lid with a few dents. Just holler if you need any of it.
