spacers that come with Dannybee belt drive

Can anyone tell me what the spacers are used for that come with the Dannybee drive system? thx.

To get your water pump farther out in front of the Danny Bee cam gear, so you can get in behind the water pump and advance or retard the cam as needed. Wrenching clearance!

Oh ok. I used them on my motor but didnt understand why they where needed. Was thinking of getting a vacuum pump for my engine and was wondering if the spaced out motor plate will affect what the mandral distance on crank vs pump mounted on motor plate. Thank you.

Design your motor plate so that it is cut open in the middle,,,like an upside down "U" shape,,,so you will have access or room to get in there to the Danny Bee belt drive. You will want to get to the cam gear, the idler pulley for tension adjustment, and the crankshaft mandrel bolt.
