What is best tranny fluid to use for ford trannys? Redline..royal purple? B-m trick shift? Other

HyTran or from CaseIH or Hy Gard from John Deere

best can depend on a lot of things

We run hygard low viscosity in race cars no matter the trans.  (I don't add anything for color because its easy to see if the stick is wet or dry IMO.) 

AMSOIL ATF in all other vehicles.

You're in Ag country. Ask any farmer what their tractors go through.

It is made to withstand higher heats than regular ATF. For what you do it will last as long as you are comfortable.

I use what Frank Merkl told me, plain old red Type F  

When I picked up my pg from Cook Racing Transmissions in Cowpen SC he told me to run the Castrol Blue Hyd. ISO 46 part # 40247 he said that is all they run in theirs and it runs 10 to 15 degree cooler than the others does. I haven't run it yet but it will go in it when I put the trans in.

We run Synergyn, but i also tell my trans customers to run Mobil 1 OR ATI super F synthetic

What type filters is everyone is using with the differ type of fluid.  Can a stock filter be use   Thank
