Hi Everyone I joined this forum a while ago when I bought a 1970 429 Torino SCJ. I didn't want to make an entrance until the car arrived from Detroit and was safely sitting in my workshop. I've always been into Fords and now I have a low mileage, original muscle car to enjoy. When I work out how to upload a photo I'll add one.

Welcome to the site...My car is a 71 Torino...Let me give some advice about your car... Take the GRILL off before you do anything else. They are light weight and very hard to be replaced. Mine broke in two places the first time I put my belly on it to adjust the carb.! Crying or Very sad Got any photos ?

Thanks Dave. I did notice the grille issue and then the previous owner emailed me and warned me about it too.[img][/img]

I'm the third owner of this original Torino which has only covered 18,625 miles. I'm going to use the car for cruising, club runs and for driving to drag strip when we're not racing.
