Way off topic but... Anybody ever swap a BBC into a 95 S-10?

Curious is all. If a BBC can fit I see no reason why a BBF wouldn't...

I've seen BBC's in the earlier boxy S10's I'm sure someone has put on in the later ones.

Looking for headers now. My brother and I found what looks to be a decent deal on a 95 S-10 that is already caged, has a 4-link rear and is mini tubbed too. It's a project that was never finished. My brother is thinking about buying it and wants to put a BBF in it... Go figure!

Funny thing is a BBC fits better in them than a SBC because of the layout of the motor.

Is it because of the taller deck height?

That has alot to do with it, the exhaust is high enough that it clears the steering shaft better, a buddy of mine had a 496 out of a dumptruck with an aluminum intake on it and it sat under the factory hood. I honestly think on the Rangers (82-93) that the bigblocks fit better also atleast the way I do them they seem to and there is pretty much the same situation compared to smallblock 302 rangers.
