just seen and article about the new pro-18 heads for bbf 18 bolt blocks motors. they look like some pretty nice heads. just wondering what intake can be use with those heads!
int cfm was 490 ex cfm 354. these would be great out the box over my a460 heads if they bolt up to the tfs a460 r intake manifold! Very Happy

They are from Carol Carter and are the old Thor heads from BT

Nothing interchanges directly with A460 heads the are closer to C460 stuff but not exactly

Fabricated Intake Manifold

Or you can build some adaptors similar to what Charlie sells for A460 manifolds on C460 heads.

BT did have a 2 piece cast manifold for the Thor heads but its hard to find and I'm not sure C&C is making them to? Would have to call and ask Carol

That one may work on Carol's head depending on the bolt pattern. Bischoff used one on a RCV build I've seen. Some fab work needed on that one.
