Before I changed classes, I ran the competition engineering adjustable shocks. 90/10 on the front and 50/50 in the back. My truck had about 1" of lift. I remember the bolts and bushings being different, but It worked out pretty good.

I did the exact same thing but with Afcos.

I took a gamble on Bilstein shocks 5125 series found firm front soft rear, there tech was very helpful and I should be able to use my stock mounts. anything will be better than what I had..

I run a combination of flat track and hill and hole pits. Found the Fox 2.0 air shocks with the 1.25" shafts worked very well. My stock springs were there to keep me in class rules as well as act as overloads for the bumps. The fox shocks held the truck up and if I removed them, everything would droop 3-4". Would have gone back to them, but I'm going full on 4 link and coilover on the new ride.
