I'm going to change my fluid from type f the the low viscosity Hy Gard to tighten my converter a tad to help on spray. What is a good filter to run in my c6?

Depends what pan you have , there are 3 types in the factory filters then different ones for aftermarket pans

I have a tci deep aluminum pan and I believe it has a drop down bracket for the filter. Just wondering if I should use a certain brand with the john Deere Hy Gard fluid.

use the brass mesh filter with the TCI pan ,do not use the dacron filter as it will starve the pump , the filter used with the TCI pan is an 904 2 hole torquefite filter

Thanks guys. Found some uglyness in the pan but threw it back together anyway lol. Def tightened the stall up so hope it holds up for a bit. Wish someone close by could rollerize it.

Frank: Do you have a part # for the 904 brass filter? The Tci pan comes with the adapter but no gaskets, what do I put between the adapter and the valve body to seal it?
tfsbbf466, hope I'm not hijacking your thread!

GT summit part# TCI-428501 . as for between the adapter and vb ,you can reuse the stock metal gasket or a paper one in all rebuild kits
