Stinger Plate... Empty Stinger Plate...

Hate to ask about a Nitrous Outlet plate in Steve's forum but. Anyone had any experience with it. I like the idea, and price. I don't need /cant warrant a fogger system so this to me looks like the next best thing. Would like to go to 300-350 progressively controlled.

Plate, fogger, flowed plate, flowed fogger, are all different. The plate will give you the hit you are looking for within the range you want to spend, the hp numbers are for lack of a better word exaggerated. If you want a hit of mr frosty, there is nothing wrong with the plate and conservatively (sneaking up on) learning the tune and what it likes, and how the car handles the additional power. Once you either limit the plate or want finer tune-ability and higher consistency and more power get Steve to design the next one. Don't break it enjoy it Cool

Oh im starting small with this one. I was just wondering if anyone had used a normal plate, then switched to a Stinger and seen any major advantages? I have a standard spray bar plate kit now.

I have the stinger 2 plate and have it set up with their starting 400 hp tune up..My plugs look perfect all of them,, were getting ready to lean on it a bit after a few more full passes, Have been 5.13 @ 138 and had to pedal it due to a wheelie that was getting a lil too high...

LIttle more about your combo? I am NOT prepared to go to 400+ but planning on ramping to 300 with a progressive.

With a 400 shot, 1.58 gear, and 3.73's you probably don't have to progress much do you?

If you had a grid we would leave on everything and just pull timing to control the tire. Might want to get some gear in the rear end.

actually I have to progress the shit out of it.. I also pull 5 extra degrees with the launch retard for 2 seconds.. The progressive starts at 10% held for .8 then the ramp starts from .8 to 2.0 to 100%

BUT keep in ming theres no way to go that low or that high with trash can noids.. 10% will equal around 30 to 40% and 65% will equall 100% at a 400 tune up one the tune up goes up its easier to progress at the higher end harder at the lower..

I don't mean to sound so blunt but I've never seen anyone have to progress a system that low that long.  Our 235 guys are all in faster than that.

I'm not a fan of the trash an style solenoids on anything.  We use the Lightning solenoids from NX on our high flowing stuff.  We've tested all brands and have stuck with those but remember most of my guys max out nitrous systems so we need the flow.

The Nitrous Outlet Stinger seems to work really well. I like the stuff they make in house, I just hate the crappy fittings they use on everything. We have a customer that is good friends with Dave that uses a NO fogger but we use Steves nozzles because of the issues we had with the junky fittings.

I have flowed them all and will stick with our version of the NX single entry plate. We have as much data on that plate as anyone in the country and feel that it will work on any engine combination. Feel free to email me at 2jmfab@gmail.com for more information. We have everything from box stock kits to full out modified and flowed class limited systems. Thank you
